The following are the most frequently asked questions about The Grooming Shop. Please review this page for helpful tips about your grooming experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

DO I NEED TO BRING A COPY OF MY DOG'S RABIES RECORD?

Yes. You must submit a copy of current valid rabies record for each pet and once every three years thereafter.

HOW LONG DOES MY DOG NEED TO STAY FOR THEIR GROOMING?

Allow at least two hours for services to be completed.  This is an average time frame.  Some pups take longer some will be done sooner.  I will contact you as soon as they are ready. 

Please pick them up no later than thirty minutes after notification. 

 If you need to leave them longer please arrange that with me in advance.

 I rotate the pups in and out every few hours so there are not too many here at one time.

WILL MY PUP BE ABLE TO USE THE POTTY AND HAVE ACCESS TO WATER DURING THEIR STAY?  

Absolutely Upon arrival, I will immediately give them access to a private fenced in area so they can potty.  Out of respect for my neighbors please don't walk your pup in the front yard. 

Each pup will have access to water throughout their stay.

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE FOR MY DOG?

You may bring anything you think would make them comfortable during their stay.  For e.g., treats, toys, blankets, etc.  If you have a preferred shampoo, you may bring that as well.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY DOG ON A LEASH?

Yes.  For those pups that can walk on a leash, I do ask that you bring them in a harness or collar with their leash.  This is for their safety as well as the safety of other clients.

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

I except cash, check, (Checks payable to Robyn Hoffmeyer.)
